For Families

Why should I get involved in Family Support?

    • Connect with other parents and watch your children make friends
    • Get help when you need it – both at our Centers and in your community
    • Build leadership skills
    • Set and achieve your own goals
    • It’s completely free!

What to expect when enrolling in Family Support

When you contact your local Family Support Center, you will be welcomed by caring staff who will work with you to identify your strengths, talk about where you need extra support, and make a plan for achieving your goals. You will also be able to participate in parent groups, activities with your children, and field trips. Participation is completely voluntary—you decide your own level of involvement! Many parents end up volunteering at the Center or taking on leadership roles in the community.
